Develop New Products and Prototypes

A key to the growth of any company remains with enterprise capacity to develop new products and services. Commercial cooperative research agreements (CRADA) are available with the $2 billon NSWC Crane military facility in the county, and the WestGate @ Crane Technology Park possesses research university assets for technology transfer and commercial development.

The main campus of the world-class Indiana University is immediately east of Greene County, and the development assets available at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (America’s No. 1 ranked private engineering college) lie within easy reach. Faculty and graduate student involvement in commercial enterprise is available through the Technical Assistance Program (TAP) operated by Purdue University.

Greene County’s certified HUBZone status also makes strategic Federal government resources (including special financing alternatives) available to companies meeting HUBZone requirements in the county. This and more are available to you today.
